Strip Waxing

Strip waxing is probably the method, which most people associate with waxing. The wax is applied and then removed by a strip of paper placed on top. It usually comes to all part of the skin. Strip waxing is quick and easy if you want things over fast and efficiently. Brazilian waxing with strips is recommended for those, who have used to do waxing regularly and for those with normal, non-sensitive skin type.

Hard Waxing

Despite the name hard wax is not hard and maybe naming it soft wax would be more correct. After the wax is applied, it is left to cool on the skin, until its consistency is soft and rubbery. It is then pulled off together with any unwanted hairs. This method of waxing takes longer and costs more. It is however gentler to the skin. If you have never tried waxing before and you are little nervous to try, then this could be the way to get started without having to fear pain or discomfort.

For hard waxing I use solely quality wax, which soothes the skin and reduces reddishness. Hard wax It is thicker and applied warm with a spatula. Once the wax hardens, it is removed without the use of a strip. When waxing the face, hard wax is generally used. Additionally, it is our professional opinion that, when it comes to sensitive skin such as the bikini area, hard wax is also the best option.

The first day after the treatment you should avoid sauna, sun bath, swimming pool, fitness, warm bath until the reddishness is gone. While your pores are open, they are vulnerable to irritation by the extreme temperatures and infection by bacteria.

How often should I get waxed?

The treatment should be repeated approximately every fourth week.

How many times do I wax before hair stops growing?

Waxing reduces hair growth when performed at every four to five weeks. While shaving crops the hair at the skin's surface, waxing pulls it out by the root, so it grows back softer, thinner and smoother but eventually waxing does not stop hair grow completely.
